The Lucksmiths-Sunlight in a Jar

This is a gift. This is the sort of song that I dream of a boy putting on a mixtape. I’d instantly fall in love. Instantly. This is the sort of song I put on repeat, and suddenly in the bleak dreadry routine there is hope, suddenly I’m smiling, and singing. This is the sort of love that seems impossible. This is the sort of happiness that seems unattainable. But it is, it is.

I tried to write an opera for us but I didn’t get that far, because trying to sum you up in song’s like catching sunlight in a jar.

Don’t break up! You’re so lovely. (To The Lucksmiths, who will never read this)

With a description like that, how can you not want to hear the song?.. and agreed, instantly in love.
